Join us for a night of looking back fondly (well…for some)
Listen and/or share your stories and poems of self discovery being LGBTQ+ (openly and/or not) in high school.
Any poems and/or stories should cover areas in sports & the outdoors; arts & theatre; or relationships. Parent(s) discretion is advised for teens attending the event and is free to attend
Please Note: We ask that any person interested in sharing their story and/or poem refrain from sharing sexually-graphic stories that may be sensitive to listeners. Individuals will have up to 5 minutes to share their stories/poems.
Have a Story/Poem in Mind Already?
We’re looking to have a small pool of storytellers/poets to help us start the open mic. We’re looking for 1-2 people, so if you’re interested, please fill out this form.
We will meet with the storytellers/poets a week prior to the event, to set expectations for how we collectively want the event to flow.
